Fly-Fishing and Big Sky Views Galore
An hour outside of Bozeman and just 30 miles from Yellowstone National Park is the Yellowstone Valley Lodge. Owned by the O’Reilly family (the auto parts giant), this place used to be a rundown fly-fishing camp. They put a touch of TLC into the property and now it’s a clean, basic place to rest your head, and to connect with the outdoors and your fellow fly-fishing fanatics. The kitchen serves up some pretty great dishes including locally-sourced lamb and beef.

If you’re headed into Yellowstone from the north entrance, take some time to stop and enjoy the scenery outside the park.
