The original location of Peter Hoe Evolution, in Chinatown, was long a must-see on the itineraries of travelers headed to Kuala Lumpur. Fortunately for its fans, the shop reopened in July 2016 at a new location: at the Row shopping center next to the Sheraton Hotel. The loftlike space teems with home furnishings, many designed by Malaysian Peter Hoe. It’s easy to lose yourself amid the piles of batik-printed pillows, breezy tunics and colorful light fixtures. Give your feet a rest at the in-store café where Hoe also bakes the sweets for sale.
