After you’ve explored the stunning sea cliffs along Mudjin Bay, get a table on the patio of the Mudjin Bar and Grill to savor the scenery a little longer and enjoy a well-earned meal. The restaurant is part of the Dragon Cay Resort and open every day for lunch and dinner. The menu shows off local flavors such as fried local lobster and conch fritters, along with burgers and chicken wings, but it’s the view overlooking the stunning Middle Caicos coastline that steals the show. (Dinner service requires reservations.)

Getting the VIP treatment at Mudjin Bar and Grill
I suppose it didn’t hurt that we rolled in at 11:15 a.m., with nary another diner in sight. But when you have the complete attention of a restaurant’s entire staff, and they treat you like you just purchased the whole island of Middle Caicos and decided to drop in for a celebratory lunch, it makes a teensy bit of an impression. Our official server, Dorothy, was a peach. When she noticed my futile attempts to set the timer on my iPhone camera, she took control of the situation and snapped approximately two thousand photos of our family on the outdoor patio, with the stunning vista of Dragon Cay in the background. Sure, you say, but how was the FOOD? It was top notch. Lobster bites that melted in my mouth, cracked conch that was actually chewable, and delicately grilled, local fish. And, get this: The prices were reasonable! Two sunburnt thumbs up.
