Sundowning with Le Toiny
For one of the finest sundowners in the Caribbean, step through the beautiful Le Toiny Restaurant (watch out for the pool) with a custom cocktail in hand, and revel in the beauty of St Barths. There’s plenty of beauty to go around, so you’d do well to extend your happy hour into the evening.
Spectacular 'Fish Market' Lunch in St. Barths
During our day trip to St. Barths, we went in with one primary objective: find a great place to experience lunch. With our shortlist down to Eden Rock’s Sandbar, Nikki Beach and Le Toiny Restaurant, we opted for the latter to see a different part of the island and experience the restaurant’s ‘Fish Market’ lunch. Unlike the rest of the week, Tuesday’s brings a prix fixe menu that offers three courses with three-plus options each. I had an incredible tartare to start, seared tuna for my main and then a mojito-inspired mint/lime dessert. Everything was delicious and the view of Toiny Beach was an incredible backdrop. Dining costs in St. Barths are generally not for the faint of heart and this fell right where I thought it would for a mid-day meal: €55 each, plus the cost of waters and drinks. Yes, the $200 lunches that you’ve heard about? They exist here.
