Ted Botha is the author of Mongo: Adventures in Trash, The Girl with the Crooked Nose, and the novel The Animal Lover. He has written for numerous publications, including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, Condé Nast Traveler, and Outside. He is completing a nonfiction thriller, the untold story of a series of movie spectacles and murders that took place in the 1920s. He lives between New York City and Johannesburg.
