M.K. Quinlan is an interior designer and personal stylist based out of Birmingham, Alabama. As a former journalist with a passion for storytelling, her work is characterized by her ability to channel the unique interests and personalities of her clients into their homes and wardrobes.

An avid collector of vintage clothing, furniture, and art, MK’s relationships with dealers across the U.S.—as well as her talent for discovering new products and artisans— give her clients unique access to one-of-a-kind pieces that make their collections distinctive. Her deep knowledge of textiles—from French brocades to country quilts—bridges her love of interiors and fashion. She is experienced in managing and sourcing for full-scale home renovations as well as simple room re-styling.

MK got her start as a freelance writer, covering architecture and interiors for The Wall Street Journal, WSJ Mag, House Beautiful, and Coastal Living. She oversaw all design content as the Senior Style Editor at Garden & Gun. She worked for two internationally renowned designers—Kemble Interiors and Andrew Law Interior Design—and she studied interior design as a graduate student at the former Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, D.C. MK received an undergraduate degree in Culture and Politics from Georgetown’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
