As of now I spend my time as a part time sommelier and freelance travel, food and design writer based in Los Angeles.
In the past, I’ve also worked with companies to promote conscious consumerism through product education. One such company is Kaufmann Mercantile, a retailer dedicated to promoting and sales of durable, well-crafted products. I’ve also worked as founding / managing editor for Edible Los Angeles magazine (a part of James Beard Award recipient Edible Communities International), whose goal is to share local, sustainable, and seasonal food sources with the public. I’ve spent time working in wine production and documented my experience, and have taught contemporary literature and writing courses as an adjunct professor at University of the West, a WASC accredited Buddhist university.
